「上から3段目」「右から5番目」を英語で【リアルな英会話で使う】

昨日「上下左右」について書きましたが、今日は「上から3番目」など具体的に「何番目」と言いたいときの表現です。

 

上から（下から）3番目

the third one from the top (bottom)

右から（左から）3番目

the third one from the right (left)

前から（後ろから）3番目

the third one from the front (back)

 

またoneの部分を状況に応じて、

列　row

席　seat

棚　shelf

などに置き換えて使いこなせるようにしておきましょう。
