「勢い」「推進力」「運動量」を意味する単語でビジネスで使われます。

 

よく使われる表現としては、

gain momentum　勢いをつける

lose momentum　勢いを失う

を中心に

keep、feelなどの動詞と使われます。

 

また

upward momentum　上昇傾向、上昇のいきおい

downward momentum　下落傾向、下落のいきおい

という表現も可能です。
