fall underの意味と使い方【ネイティブが使う自然な表現】
fall underで「〜に該当する」を意味します。
該当するって、categorizeという動詞が頭に浮かぶ方も多いかもしれないですが、ネイティブはfall underという表現をよく使います。
fall under a category of〜「〜のカテゴリーに該当する」といった感じでcategoryと一緒に使われることも多いです。
例）
Those companies fall under a category of growth.
これらの企業は成長のカテゴリーに該当する
A and B fall under completely different categories.
AとBは全く違うカテゴリーに該当する

ちなみに fall under の他に fall into も似た文脈、意味合いで使うことができますが、とりあえずはfall underをマスターすればOKと思います。
日本語的にこういうモノが行動主体となる表現（fall underはヒトも主語に取れますが）をマスターするのって難しいですよね。。
